  Throughout this English training process, I have completed different activities that have helped me strengthen my communication skills in English. Each piece of evidence allowed me to improve my reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities. This learning experience has been very valuable because it has helped me gain confidence when using English in academic and professional contexts. In this blog, I share what I did, what I learned, and my opinion about each activity completed during the course.

First Steps: Reconnecting with English (Questionnaire – GA1-240202501-AA1-EV01)

  This questionnaire allowed me to reconnect with the English language after a long time without practicing it regularly. Through this activity, I reviewed vocabulary, expressions, and basic grammatical structures. I learned the importance of constantly practicing English because it is a very useful tool for both personal and professional development. In my opinion, this activity was a good starting point for strengthening my knowledge of the language and identifying the areas where I needed to improve.

All About Me: My Professional Brochure (Brochure – GA1-240202501-AA1-EV03)

 In this activity, I created a brochure introducing myself and my academic training. I talked about my role as a SENA apprentice in Logistics Process Coordination and my motivation to continue learning and improving my professional skills. Through this activity, I improved my writing skills and learned how to present information in a clear and organized way. I believe this activity helped me gain confidence when expressing personal and academic information in English.

Facing the Camera: My Virtual Interview (Virtual Interview Video – GA2-240202501-AA1-EV02)

  This activity allowed me to practice my pronunciation and oral expression through a virtual interview. While answering the questions, I realized that pronunciation is one of the language skills that requires the most practice. I learned the importance of speaking with confidence, improving my fluency, and paying attention to correct pronunciation. In my opinion, this was one of the most useful activities because it helped me identify areas where I need to continue improving my speaking skills.

Storytelling: The Chronicle of Mother Laura (Chronicle – GA2-240202501-AA1-EV03)

or this activity, I wrote a chronicle about Mother Laura. Through this exercise, I learned how to organize events chronologically and improve my writing skills in English. This activity also helped me expand my vocabulary and understand how to communicate historical information in a structured way. I found this activity interesting because it combined language learning with cultural and historical knowledge.

Speaking Up: Practicing Pronunciation (Audio Recording – GA4-240202501-AA1-EV02)

 The audio activity helped me practice my pronunciation and speaking skills. Recording my voice allowed me to identify mistakes and work on improving them. Although speaking English is one of the skills I find most challenging, I enjoy activities like this because they help me gain confidence and improve my communication abilities. I learned that constant practice is essential for developing better pronunciation and fluency.

Green Workspace: Environmental Responsibility Forum (Forum – GA4-240202501-AA1-EV03)

In this forum activity, I shared my opinions about environmental responsibility in the workplace. I discussed how employees can contribute to environmental protection by saving energy, recycling materials, reducing waste, and promoting environmental awareness among coworkers. Through this activity, I improved my ability to express my opinions and support my ideas in English. I was pleased to receive positive feedback highlighting the clarity, organization, and relevance of my responses. This experience motivated me to continue improving my written communication skills.
